Technoetic Arts update on the 2023 thematic issue “Women in Art and Science”

The journal Technoetic Arts joins hands with FEMeeting: Women in Art, Science and Technology for the publication of part of the conference’s proceedings as a thematic “Women in Art and Science” issue - Volume 21: Issue 2 will be released at the end of 2023.

FEMeeting was launched in 2017 and will celebrate the third edition of its international conference in 2022. Joining efforts with Technoetic Arts will contribute to a wider dissemination of projects carried out by women and with a focus on collaboration strategies and research methodologies in art and science.

Among FEMeeting’s objectives are:

  • strong personal support through instant internet communication between women (in the broadest sense of the term) doing research work in art, science and technology

  • encouragement towards the formation of local nodes to support research and artistic creation to enable a wide network of direct communication and encourage trust.

Among the FEMeeting members are also Technoetic Arts’ editorial board member Victoria Vesna as well as Claudia Jacques and Dalila Honorato of the journal’s Editorial Organism.
