The journal Technoetic Arts will publish two issues in 2024. We welcome contributions for issue 1 on a continuing basis until 30 July 2023. The Technoetic Arts journal is listed in Scopus and the Web of Science’s ESCI, among other academic indices. Please see the journal’s website at Intellect for further information.
Technoetic Arts welcomes contributions between 5,000–7,500 words that focus upon the juncture between art, technology and the mind, drawing from academic research as well as practice-based and other possibly unorthodox approaches. Technoetic Arts invites a variety of scholarly material – including research articles, interviews, transcription of roundtables, as well as contextualised artist statements and speculative fiction.
Technoetic Arts also welcomes original research articles for the ongoing special ‘Cryptoart’ section that is co-guest edited by Primavera De Filippi. Please see the related call here.
For proposals of special issues based on conferences, or if you have questions about article formats, please get in touch with the editors.
Deadline for submission: July 30, 2023.
